1What sets your homes and community apart from other housing options?
No one else can offer our unique combination of complete home packages, home services, and a 55+ retirement community environment.
2Are any other subdivisions, apartments or condos offering these services?
Our community was designed to fill a void in the housing market. We can offer you an affordable custom-built home, optional snow and lawn services and community staff to help you as needed. You will be able to maintain the lifestyle and activities you enjoy. For example, you can plant flowers or gardens, grill out on your patio or set up a woodworking shop in your garage. No other builder or community can offer you a better housing value for your dollar.
3Why lease the land rather than buy a condominium or a home in a subdivision?
Owning your new ranch home in our private community will ensure your privacy and independence, while keeping the money you would normally spend on the land purchase available for you to enjoy or invest. Unlike condos or apartments, your new home will be built on your own lot. As a result, you will not have a stranger living above you or sharing a common wall with you. By leasing the land, you are guaranteed that our community standards will be enforced. At the same time, knowing your neighbors have passed the same credit, criminal and character background checks that you did will provide you with peace of mind. You will be protected against unwanted neighbors or situations.
4What standard features are included with your new homes?
All our homes are "no step." You'll love the one level living: no stairways, no elevators. Look at out “Builder Series Standards” to see all of our features.
5What am I actually buying and how do the taxes work?
You purchase your home and own it as you would any other property. An efficient building process, bulk quantity discounts and no land purchase cost allow us to be able to offer our homes for $30,000-$50,000 less than comparable homes. You are only responsible for the taxes on your home only. No more real estate taxes! Any tax that you pay is fully deductible.
6What does the land lease or site fee include?
Increased safety. Our private community carefully screens the backgrounds of all prospective residents. Protective covenants. We guarantee you won't have to worry about neighbors having loud parties or junk vehicles on their lawn. Free annual home inspections. A home monitoring program for times when you want to travel. Tree trimming, dandelion weed spraying and lawn edging. Use of our private stocked fishing pond. Never have your driveway plowed shut again in the winter. We have year round employees to ensure that your needs will be met.
7Do you offer financing?
We have partnered with several local lenders to offer a full line of financing options.
8Are small house pets allowed?

9Can I get a basement with my home?
Yes, you can.

Please print our Application and bring the completed form along with a $25 check to our office.
11Do I have to be over 55 years old to live in Maple Grove?
Yes. All new residents must be at least 55 years of age. Health care providers under the age of 55 who are needed for the reasonable accommodation of a disability are permitted.
